Understanding Job Categories on Scout

Job Categories play an essential role in how Scout connects your open Jobs with the most qualified Search Firms. By assigning a Category to each Job you post, Scout can quickly identify which Search Firm Recruiters have the expertise needed to deliver strong Candidates.

Using Job Categories When Posting a Job

When you create a new Job on Scout, simply choose the category that best represents the role from the Job Category dropdown when completing the Job Information section. Please note that you can only select one category for each Job.

Scout uses the following Job Categories:
